Situated a mile from the main property, I stayed in a charming two-bedroom house nestled in the lush jungle surroundings. The accommodations were tastefully designed with hardwood furnishings, offering a comfortable and authentic stay.One of the standout features was the well-equipped kitchen, allowing for self-catering and a true home-away-from-home experience. The absence of air conditioning was hardly missed, as the natural shade and clever ventilation kept the interiors pleasantly cool. The spacious dining and lounge area provided a cozy spot to unwind after a day of exploring.Emilio, the owner, exemplified exceptional hospitality by going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Despite a minor hiccup with our room reservation, we were graciously upgraded to a private villa with its own beach-an unexpected treat that truly impressed.The location of the property is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, with abundant wildlife and a short walk to a picturesque beach. While the serene setting may require transportation for some amenities further afield, the tranquility and seclusion offered a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle.In terms of amenities, the property excels in providing essential comforts, with a focus on practicality rather than extravagant luxuries. The presence of free toiletries, a flat-screen TV, and reliable Wi-Fi catered to our basic needs without unnecessary frills.
